Ponchatoula-tini  (with Strawberries & Cream Macarons)

Finally! Our first drink and macaron pairing, am I right? And this local spin on the martini is as fresh as a before-it's-too-hot breezy Louisiana spring day (y'all know what I'm talking about). With only a few simple ingredients, a new, local vodka, and your set of strawberries & cream macarons, you'll be more than set for a midday brunch, ladies lunch, or sweet celebration. 

 

Ponchatoula-tini  

(with Strawberries & Cream Macarons)

Ingredients

3 oz Yellowfin Vodka *

1 oz Mint Simple Syrup 

1-2 Strawberries

2 fresh mint leaves 

Directions

  1. Muddle strawberries
  2. Add vodka, simple syrup, and shake
  3. Double strain
  4. Garnish with mint leaves
  5. Pair with strawberries and cream macaron or mint chocolate macaron
