Sweet-n-Sazzy (with Sea Salt Caramel Macarons)

To celebrate our second #thirstythursday, we've hit up a bottle of Sazerac, thanks again to The Tap Room in River Ranch. Be sure to grab some fresh rosemary and orange bitters if you're making this one at home (or just visit the talented bartenders at The Tap Room!). Oh, and don't forget your sea salt caramel macarons too ;)

 

Sweet-n-Sazzy

(with Sea Salt Caramel Macarons)

Ingredients

1.5 oz. Sazerac Rye

1/4 oz. Rosemary Simple Syrup

3 dashes Reagan's Orange Bitters

1 strawberry

Ginger ale

Directions

  1. Make rosemary simple syrup
  2. Muddle strawberries
  3. Add all ingredients and shake
  4. Strain into rocks glass
  5. Top with ginger ale
  6. garnish with expressed orange peel
  7. Pair with your sea salt caramel macarons
